Once a sale is concluded these endpoints are used to create and activate a policy on AXA CLP systems.
You can use the quote API to finalise an existing quote and convert this into a policy. This is usually used when we have a product that has multiple insurance options and multiple quotes.
This is what we call our finalise quote API.
Alternatively you can use the policy API to create a policy directly on our backend system without having a previous quote.
This is what we call our create policy API.
You can also find within the policy API the transaction endpoint which allows you to check a transaction status which can be helpful when orchestrating your API calls to us.
